“Zendaya’s Dance Drama: A Season 16 Tragic Tussle for the Top”

Zendaya Still Has a Little Animosity Over Losing “Dancing with the Stars”

In an interview with W Magazine, Zendaya, the 28-year-old actress, revealed that she is still upset over the outcome of her participation in the 16th season of “Dancing with the Stars” back in 2013. At the time, she was just 16 years old and competing against fellow stars Kelly Pickler and Derek Hough. Although she has long since moved on to achieve great success in her career, Zendaya admits that she still has a little bit of animosity towards the show.

Zendaya, who went on to win the mirror ball trophy three times with past costars, was disappointed with the outcome of Season 16. She felt that she put too much pressure on herself and that she was not as prepared as she thought she was. She also felt that the judges’ scores were not always accurate, which added to her frustration.

“I was only 16 and it was a lot of pressure. I took it very seriously and looking back now, I wish I hadn’t done it. I wish I’d done it more like it a little bit and then think, ‘Eh, whatever,'” Zendaya told W Magazine. “I put too much pressure on myself. I’ve really been through this [show].”

Zendaya hasn’t watched the show since the season ended, and she doesn’t think she’s the target audience for it anymore. She also mentioned that her grandmother is a fan of the show, which makes her think that she’s not as relevant to the show as she used to be.

It’s worth noting that Zendaya’s former partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, 38, also expressed disappointment over their loss during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. He said that his biggest heartbreak was not winning the show with Zendaya because she was only 16 years old and worked so hard.

However, Chmerkovskiy also added that Zendaya’s experience on the show helped her launch her career, and that she’s now one of Hollywood’s biggest stars. He also emphasized that it’s not always about winning or losing, but about learning from the experience and using the tools to position oneself well for the future.

In conclusion, Zendaya’s feelings of disappointment and animosity towards “Dancing with the Stars” have not completely faded over time. However, she has long since moved on and has achieved great success in her career, which is a testament to her hard work and dedication.
