Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy star in TaylorMade’s latest Christmas card

As per their annual tradition, TaylorMade has once again gathered their top tour crew to add a little holiday comedy to our Christmas week.
This year, instead of one Christmas card, TaylorMade is launching several Christmas cards, each based on some of the most popular Christmas movies.
Rory McIlroy, Charlie Hull and Collin Morikawa in “Hole in One”
First up, Rory McIlroy, Collin Morikawa and Charlie Hull recreated the iconic movie poster for the classic film Home Alone, starring Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McCallister. It’s a bit difficult to follow a young Kevin Rory considering he’s also been sporting lighter shades and salt-and-pepper hair, but Rory has become some of golf’s “star” boys now, so it’s a pretty natural one choose.
Charley Hull’s turn as Joe Pesci’s Harley might actually be just right, considering the colorful roles she’s played on the LPGA this year. However, Collin Morikawa’s performance as his second-in-command, Marv, is inappropriate. Morikawa doesn’t look like someone who would steal from anyone, let alone a young boy left home while his family was on vacation…unless it was Rory.
Tiger Woods in “TaylorMade Golf Tiger’s Vacation”
Tiger Woods’ Chevy Chase character Clark W. “Sparky” Griswold Jr. in National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation is perfect for this costume. Note that the Santa hat features Tiger’s new logo, a subtle nod to Tiger’s new Sun Day Red brand, which is part of the TaylorMade product portfolio. Wonder how much they could sell for if any?
Tommy Fleetwood in “Rush”
We can’t tell you for sure that “Die Hard” is a Christmas movie, but TaylorMade is here to make it clear that “Drive Hard” is a Christmas movie.
If anyone could bring out the charisma of Bruce Willi, it was Tommy Fleetwood. It’s hard to imagine anyone else on TaylorMade’s staff wearing a grubby vest and pretending a 5-iron is a gun. Fleetwood fielded more international agents than New York City detectives, but close enough to make it work.
Scotty Scheffler in “Scotty Terms”
As the undisputed No. 1 player in the world, you’ll end the year as “Happy Saint Nick,” replacing Tiger Woods. But we’d advise Scotty to skip the milk and cookies if he wants to defend his title at Augusta National next year.
Nelly Korda
Just like Will Ferrell’s Buddy Hobbs in Elf stands out among Santa’s elves, Nelly Korda stands out among other players on the LPGA , she had one of the greatest seasons by an American player this century, winning seven times.
It also suited Nelly’s 5-foot-10 frame and allowed her to tower over the other competitors.
Brooke Henderson in “The Canadian Story”
As the winningest Canadian golfer of all time, Brooke Henderson deserves her own independent movie. It’s easy to guess that her Red Ryder Carbine Action BB gun version will be added to her two major titles in 2016 and 2022.
