28 Years Later – Official Trailer
In a recent interview with Metro , Bill Skarsgård recently told us a little bit about what to expect from Pennywise, the killer interdimensional dancing clown. He initially talked about a sequel that’s already planned, and it sounds like we’ll get a deeper look at who Pennywise is:
I’m interested in it, but all I can say is, we’re in the early stages and I’m working with [IT director Andy Muschietti] And figure out what it will be. It’s a different story, but I’m excited to delve deeper into the character as there’s more exploration of who Pennywise is.
Skarsgård also talked about what we can expect from the current movie and the journey we’ll witness from Pennywise’s character:

I think that’s what I want and where I want to go with my second goal, delving into this psychological and metaphysical space of interdimensional existence.
Despite rumors, creator Stephen King wasn’t impressed with early screenings of IT , and apparently that’s all changed. King recently spoke to Bloody Disgusting and gushed about the greatness of the film:
“I’m hopeful, but I’m not ready to see how good it is. It’s something different and something that audiences will relate to. They’re going to love these characters. For me, it’s all about character. .if you like these characters…if you care…fear usually works.
“I’m sure my fans are going to love this movie. I think they’re going to really enjoy this movie. I think some of them are going to go back two or three times and really savor this thing. I went back and saw it a second time, and I felt I saw things the second time that I missed the first time.
