Putin said that Russia and BRICS countries will cooperate to establish an artificial intelligence alliance
MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russia will work with BRICS partners and other countries to develop artificial intelligence to challenge U.S. dominance in one of the most disruptive technologies of the 21st century, President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday.
“I believe that an international alliance of national associations and development agencies in the field of artificial intelligence from BRICS and other interested countries will give a significant boost to this cooperation,” Putin said at an artificial intelligence conference in Moscow.
“We are launching this alliance today,” he said.

Sberbank, Russia’s largest bank, said the new artificial intelligence alliance network will include China’s National Artificial Intelligence Association, working with Russia, India, Brazil and South Africa. China is one of the world’s two artificial intelligence powers.
