A year in review: The List by House & Garden events

The List by House & Garden is not only a great place to find the right business for your next project, it also offers design professionals the chance to network and learn something new through our events programme. As a gold member, you have the chance to enjoy a range of diverse and thoughtful events that promise to spark conversations and offer opportunities to learn from some incredible creatives.
2024 was brimming with lively, thought-provoking events. From a trip to Paris in January to The List 2025 directory party at Petersham Nurseries in November, The List‘s event programme had something for everyone. Here is a roundup of everything our members enjoyed this year…
Maison et Objet
We started the year off in style with a trip to Paris to attend the January edition of Maison et Objet. Our members were treated to breakfast, in Maison’s very chic VIP tent, and then went on a private guided tour where they were shown the very best the show had to offer.
Design Centre Chelsea Harbour
With a curated programme of tours, our members were able to explore some of the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour’s tentpole events and find inspiration for their next project. From Design Week in March to Wow!House in June, each event ended with a lovely breakfast from Social Pantry at The List’s branded Cafe, the perfect way to network.
Cromwell Place
We had the pleasure of hosting an array of events with Cromwell Place, a row of Grade II Listed townhouses in South Kensington that boasts a year-round programme of diverse, interdisciplinary exhibitions. This year, events included a couple that were hosted in conjunction with London Craft Week and London Design Festival’s London Brompton Design District.
Blithfield x Butter Wakefield
Blithfield teamed up with garden designer Butter Wakefield to host a morning of tablescaping and flower arranging for our members at Blithfield’s lovely showroom in Kensington. Featuring a plethora of Blithfield’s fabrics and Wicklewood’s home accessories, Butter shared her tips on how to perfectly style a table.
Nicola Harding
Nicola Harding hosted a lovely morning of networking and a sit-down brunch at her new studio in Queens Park. Our guests were able to view products from Nicola’s homeware collection, NiX By Nicola Harding and learn more about her design process.
