Smulders went on to call Sophie and Jimmy’s relationship “beautiful,” adding, “I feel like the show brings such wonderful humanity to the screen. I was able to get into the flow of the show and really bring another dimension to the show. Color. It’s so hard to be a guest star, so I’m grateful to have Jason as my scene partner, but it’s very difficult to be stuck in something as a guest star and to continue to tell the story as accurately as possible and as beautifully as possible. “It’s an old way of dating, and I’m fascinated by what fans think when they come up to me and talk to me about it. But it’s heartwarming and I love it. The things we do can impact anyone, It’s so amazing because you think you’re just throwing it out there and when people come up to you and honestly tell you the impact it has, I find it very touching,” she told us. “I’m so grateful to be able to have a positive impact on anyone through our art and what we’re creating.
