New experiences, new characters coming to Disney Cruise Line in 2025
Disney Cruise Line’s new ship, Disney Treasure, officially set sail from its home port of Port Canaveral, Florida on December 21. This imaginative new ship invites passengers to experience their own adventure on a seven-night Caribbean sailing, immersed in a vibrant world and adventures from fan-favorite Disney stories.

Standout new experiences featuring The Haunted Mansion, Moana and Coco storylines highlight Disney treasures and are just the beginning of the new magic Disney Imagineers are bringing to the cruise line. Disney Cruise Line has laid out a plan to strengthen its position as the leader in family cruises by more than doubling its fleet by 2031.
The cruise line will launch two new ships in 2025 that will bring bold new experiences to the high seas, including hero- and villain-themed venues and entertainment, as well as Marvel superhero-style stage shows and attractions. In addition to the new ships, the cruise line will bring new characters to family cruises, including some of the most popular characters from television and movies in 2024.

Disney Cruise Line to launch new ships in Florida and Singapore in 2025
Following the inaugural season of Disney Treasure, the cruise line will launch its next new ship in November 2025 from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Up the basics, including inspiration from “The Lion King.”
It will also be the first Disney cruise ship to feature a lounge inspired by Marvel Studios’ “Doctor Strange.” Other new venues on board include bars celebrating Cruella de Vil and Pirates of the Caribbean.
Shortly after Disney Destiny’s maiden voyage, Asia’s first Disney cruise ship will set sail in December 2025, a destination in itself. Disney Adventure, the cruise line’s most theme park-like ship yet, will offer cruises that are only a few days at sea and feature seven uniquely themed areas that bring the fantastical worlds of Disney, Pixar and Marvel to life .

One of the themed areas of Disneyland Adventure Park, the Adventure Zone on the upper deck called Marvel Landing, will feature three new Disney attractions inspired by iconic Marvel superheroes. One of the attractions, “Ironcycle Test Run,” will be the cruise line’s first roller coaster and the longest roller coaster at sea.

Disney Cruise Line to Get New Characters in 2025
Beginning in January 2025, Disney Cruise Line passengers sailing from Australia and New Zealand will be the first to interact with Bluey, the beloved blue heel pup, and her sister Bingo from the hit TV show “Bluey.” The animated series was the most watched series globally on Disney+ in 2024.
Bluey’s experience on Disney cruises sailing from Australia and New Zealand will include special meet-and-greets and interactive games filled with clues, ending with a dance party featuring Bluey’s signature moves.

The Marvel character Deadpool, whose movie with Wolverine broke box office records in 2024, will make his debut on a Disney Cruise Line in 2025 when Disney Adventure sets sail from Singapore in December. Deadpool will join Marvel’s legendary cast of superheroes and villains in one of the new ship’s signature shows, Avengers Assemble! Avengers Assemble! This will be a battle of good and evil filled with stunts and special effects, and Marvel characters such as Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Thor, Black Panther and Deadpool.
Disney’s Destiny will also be filled with Marvel-style spaces, entertainment and characters. This will be the first Disney cruise ship to feature a Marvel superhero as an iconic character on the stern. The ship will be adorned with a sculpture of the legendary Spider-Man and his spider robots adorning the filigree on the stern.
