Palm Springs shooting leaves two seriously injured

A shooting in a Palm Springs community late Monday night left two people seriously injured.

The Palm Springs Police Department responded to the 1500 block of San Rafael Drive in the city’s north end at 11:59 p.m. Police found two victims with serious injuries but were later reported to be in stable condition.

A third person was present but was not injured, police said in a news release.

According to police, multiple shots were fired. A nearby home was attacked, but no one, including children, was injured.

Police said they were investigating the incident as attempted murder. They did not announce any arrests or say whether detectives have any suspects.
