Star pitcher Walker Buehler, who clinched the 2024 World Series title for the Los Angeles Dodgers, has found a new home in MLB.
Buehler has reportedly agreed to a one-year deal with the Boston Red Sox to add more firepower to the rotation next season.
According to multiple media reports, the deal is worth $21.05 million. Yahoo Sports will also receive an additional $2.5 million in performance bonuses.

Boston has been strengthening its starting pitching staff this offseason, most notably acquiring Garrett Crochet in an earlier deal with the Chicago White Sox. A few days ago, they also signed another left-hander, veteran Patrick Sandoval, to a two-year deal.
The Red Sox also have breakout prospects Tanner Hoke, Lucas Giolito, Kurt Crawford and Brayam Bello, who form a good combination for the 2025 starting lineup.

Buehler’s career is one to watch as he was one of the most dominant pitchers in baseball from 2018 to 2021 and he is a potential future ace for the Dodgers.
