UFC star Colby Covington slams LeBron James’ ‘old braggadocio’ comments: ‘F—ing scumbag’

UFC star Colby Covington wasted no time taking shots during a media appearance on Wednesday, but he wasn’t targeting upcoming opponent Joaquin Barkley.
Instead, Covington took a swipe at NBA superstar LeBron James.
It wasn’t the reporter’s question that prompted Covington to launch a rant against basketball’s all-time leading scorer.
He started the press conference by asking James about an old video that has resurfaced in which James talks to disgraced music mogul Sean “Didi” Combs about his now-infamous “Didi parties” ”.

“I’m going to start this, you know, because I’m the guy, the guy,” Covington said. “I wanted to ask LeBron what he meant by ‘there’s no party like Diddy’s party.’ Not only that, LeBron, I really want to know how many Diddy parties you’ve been to, that’s you Reason for leaving social media?
The comment Covington was talking about was an old Instagram Live between “P. Diddy” and James, in which the basketball star said, “There’s no party like Diddy’s Party,” which the music mogul loved.

“It’s so sad, man,” Covington added. “People see this man as a role model. He wants to defund the police, the most patriotic people in America who serve and protect our country.
“LeBron, you are a scumbag. I wish you could be in the same cell as Dee Dee.”
James wasn’t Covington’s only target, he also took shots at fellow boxer Jon “Bones” Jones.
Covington has been outspoken about James in the past, always speaking his mind and sparking some controversy during media appearances.
