Jamie Foxx recovering after physical altercation at Beverly Hills restaurant
Jamie Foxx is recovering from injuries sustained during an incident at a restaurant during his birthday dinner on Friday.
“Jamie Foxx was at his birthday dinner when someone at another table threw a glass, hitting him in the mouth,” a Fox spokesperson said. “He had to get stitches and is recovering. . The police have received the report and the matter has been handed over to law enforcement agencies.
The Beverly Hills Police Department said it responded to “a report of a possible assault with a deadly weapon at Mr. Chow Restaurant located at 344 N. Camden Road.” Police said the incident happened just after 10 p.m., but they did not name Foxx.
“After investigation, officers determined that the reported assault with a deadly weapon was unfounded,” the BHP Police Department said. “Instead, the incident involved a physical altercation between two parties. BHPD conducted a preliminary investigation and completed a report documenting battery. No Arrest anyone.

In a Netflix special released on Tuesday, Foxx said he suffered a brain bleed during a medical emergency last year, which resulted in a stroke.
“It’s a mystery,” the Oscar-winning actor said in the Netflix special. “We still don’t know what happened to me.”
“On April 11, I had a terrible headache and asked my son for an aspirin. I quickly realized that when you have a medical emergency, your children don’t know what to do. ” he said on Netflix.
“I was out before I got the aspirin,” he said. “I don’t remember 20 days.”
Fox thanked his sister, who he said “is 4-foot-11 and has nothing but pure love,” for driving him around Atlanta in search of a hospital.
Fox said in the Netflix special that they were eventually taken to Piedmont Hospital, where doctors told them Fox had suffered a bleed on the brain, causing a stroke and that he would die without surgery.
After surgery, doctors said Foxx would likely make a full recovery, “but it will be the worst year of his life,” Foxx said on Netflix.
