ATP Challenger Prizes soar to record $28.5 million in 2025

The ATP announced that ATP Challenger Tour prize money for the 2025 season will reach a record $28.5 million, a year-on-year increase of $6.2 million and a 135% increase since 2022. the result of reform.
A core driver of prize money growth is the formation of Tennis Data Innovation (TDI) and the successful commercialization of Challenger Tour rights. Schedule enhancements will help drive growth through the launch of premium Challenger 175 events and an increase in the number of higher category Challenger 100 and 125 events.
Under OneVision’s leadership, the ATP has established a dedicated Challenger Tour team with new leadership to oversee growth and new revenue opportunities. Significant marketing investment, led by the launch of the Challenger Tour’s “On The Rise” brand campaign, has played an important role in increasing the tour’s visibility and commercial appeal.
ATP President Andrea Gaudenzi Said: “Creating a sustainable ATP Tour path for players is vital to the future of the sport. Since 2022, we have introduced significant reforms to the Challenger Tour. The results are clear: record prize money is increasing year on year , and most importantly, more players entering the top 250 receive higher financial compensation at this level.
