In her recently published memoir, “Lovely One,” Jackson describes appearing on Broadway as a fantasy of hers.
“I, a girl from Miami with humble beginnings, an unabashed love of theater, and dreams of one day serving on the highest court in the land – I also wrote in one of my supplemental application essays,” Jackson wrote. Said this. “I expressed my desire to attend Harvard because I believed it might help me fulfill my fantasy of becoming the first black female Supreme Court justice to appear on Broadway. ‘”
No details about Jackson’s role have been released yet.
“With Juliet” is a jukebox Broadway musical that reimagines the eponymous character from Shakespeare’s classic “Romeo and Juliet” had she survived the tragic ending. These include songs by Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Bon Jovi, Ariana Grande, Kelly Clarkson, Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC and more.
