Stars’ Stranges named AHL Player of the WeekTheAHL.com

Springfield, Massachusetts … American Hockey League announced today Texas star forward Antonio Stranges has been selected as Howies Hockey Video/AHL Player of the Week Period ending December 8, 2024.

Strange had three goals and five assists for eight points in four games to help the Stars end their Western Conference road trip.

Stranges scored his first game-winning goal of the season with 14:05 left in regulation to lift Texas to a 5-3 win over Ontario on Tuesday night. He scored a career-high four points (two goals, two assists) in the Stars’ 6-4 loss on Thursday at Coachella Valley on all offense. Strange had an assist on Henderson on Saturday and two more on Sunday as Texas beat the Silver Knights 4-2.

As a third-year pro, Strange played 19 games for Texas in the 2024-25 season, scoring nine goals and 14 assists for 23 points, leading the team in scoring.
