Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple had a great first vacation with both families

“It went really well,” Chock, 60, said exclusively us weekly Friday, December 6, on Jingle Ball on iHeartRadio 102.7 KIIS FM.
Joan and Jock, 61, spent Thanksgiving with their children from each of their past relationships. They got engaged in season 1 golden bacheloretteairing earlier this fall.
“I was a little nervous because we were suddenly getting everyone together. The holidays were a little stressful anyway,” Joan recalled. us on Friday. “Then introducing, ‘This is your new family, this is your new step-siblings, this is me in his child’s life, Jock in my child’s life’ can be uncomfortable.”
She added, “But from the first night, everything went great. We went out to dinner. Our kids left us and they were like, ‘Yeah, we’re going to the bar after,’ and we went home, Leaving the kids outside. We are very lucky that our kids get along great.
Now since golden bachelorette Joan and Jock’s romance has become public since the show aired, and they’re excited to learn new things about each other.
“Joan was just a good person. She had a lot of friends and she looked out for them and gave them attention,” Jock gushed. “She’s a great grandmother and a great all-around person and we have a lot of fun together. She’s more adventurous than me so we make a good team. She drives like an F1 driver !

Joan admires how Jock balances fatherhood and professional life.
“I admire that he was the primary parent in his children’s lives from a very young age and had a very successful career, so it was a lot of work,” she said. “He was a good father and a good provider for his family.”
Jock replied: “It’s great. We’re really lucky.
Joan and Jock are currently spending time in their respective home states of Maryland and Kansas. They also plan to move to New York City together — in addition to settling in with their fellow Bachelor alums.
“Well, we’ve been trying to match,” Joan told us. “We have a group of people [from my season] We’ve been working hard to match them up [with the women from The Golden Bachelor]. Surprisingly, Chuck is such a good matchmaker. I started it and now he’s working on it.
She added, “We were all together last night, we called guys, talked to girls. We made things work.
Joan and Jock also advocate the “golden” version Bachelor in Paradise.
“I think we could be bartenders or counselors or something,” she joked. “I have to say, though, a lot of the boys who finished my season have been paired up with girls. I think they have a newfound confidence and are very popular. I’m excited for them, but I’m a little concerned that our guys will shortage.
