According to a former bodyguard, Elvis Presley was “very heavy” and “bad” towards women during his lifetime.

Legendary music producer Elvis Presley provided consumers with his original hit singles, including “Hound Dog” and “Jailhouse Rock,” which blended country, rhythm, blues and rock styles. His voice and charisma were rewarded by him and hysterical fans.
Presley was a pioneer in youth music, while Patsy Cline straddled the line between country and pop and Ray Charles bridged the groundbreaking The Soul Music Divide. The King of Rock and Roll was a cultural icon in the music and television industries of the 1950s.
Presley was reportedly in great pain in the months before his sudden death on August 16, 1977.

“He was really heavy,” author and Presley’s former bodyguard Ted Pryor told Fox Digital News.
“Ives was so heavy, he didn’t like being touched because he was sweating all the time and he was hot,” he said.
Pryor was a super middleweight kickboxing champion who was hired to Presley’s team because of his world championship status.
“Ives, when he was young, he did a little bit of martial arts and was obsessed with it,” Pryor said. “Being the ‘King’s’ bodyguard is very exciting for me.”

Pryor and his friend Joe were training Florida law enforcement, FBI and DEA personnel on how to deploy self-defense techniques in the field when they received a call from Presley’s team during Presley’s visit to the United States Provide security work.
“Unfortunately, no one knew it at the time, but he was bankrupt,” Pryor told Fox News Digital.
“He had to start touring because his manager gambled all his money away,” he added of Presley’s manager at the time, Colonel Tom Parker.

“Aves never left the United States,” Pryor said. “Elvis’s manager kept him in America for a reason, because he had a gambling problem.”
Although Presley’s weight gain was widely analyzed in the decades following his death, women flocked to the “Can’t Miss It” singer and deftly maneuvered her way through the crowd to the stage.
“In the past, women were always rushing to the stage,” Pryor told Fox News Digital. “It’s fun because you’re going to choke them. We’ll slowly bring them to the floor and then our junior bouncers will take them away.”
Pryor said the men would use beating techniques to fend off three to four women at a time, and one of the women (who was gifted a scarf by Presley himself) strangled Pryor with the accessory.

Pryor and Joe stayed by his side on what was unknowingly the last trip of his life, until they received sudden news that shocked the world. Presley’s death was a shock, and former President Jimmy Carter issued a public statement about his passing in Memphis.
“This was not a good decision,” Pryor said. “I think the whole world was shocked when this happened.”

Pryor fondly recalled his time with Presley, saying the singer was “very good” to his bodyguards and that despite his overall “bad temper,” he was “very good” to them.
“He lost his mother, he lost his wife, and he had an aversion to women,” Pryor said.
